So proud to announce that our latest single, Dismantle is out! We worked hard on this track to make it one that will truly “stick” in your heart and your brain. Dismantle is one of our favorite songs we’ve done to date, because it has a complex arrangement while also being fun, danceable and thematically relatable. It has a lot of interesting sonic elements that come together to make a good pop song. I’d almost describe it as an interesting mix of alt rock, electronic, nu-disco, maybe with a dash of prog rock.
Dismantle is about how in a partnership there can be “battles”, essentially… debates you can have with your partner. In a healthy, positive relationship, they can be opportunities to check in and see how well you know each other. There will be times when your partner calls you out on your b.s. and forces you to see yourself more clearly. You send in “battalions” of reasoning around your point of view, your partner sends in their “legions”,the retaliation. They dismantle these false and usually rather negative notions you have about yourself. If only we could just see and love ourselves in the way that others do.
