Many thanks to Beach House Mag music blog for their review of “Frequencies“, the fifth and final track from our EP II.

“Frequencies” is an enchanting auditory journey that captivates listeners with its intricate layers and dynamic soundscapes. The song’s structure is a balanced blend of infectious grooves and mesmerizing melodies, creating an atmosphere that is both uplifting and introspective. McKenna Rowe’s ethereal vocals are a standout element, resonating with the emotional depth and finesse of renowned artists like Goldfrapp, Jessie Ware, and Annie Lennox. This particular song means a great deal to me because I think there’s an undeniable purity and beauty to it. Ballads are tough to pull off, but I think “Frequencies” holds a certain energy and timelessness. It’s a love song to a song, about songwriting itself…shooting a flare into the ether and hoping that a great song will be delivered to you. I do feel like there is some unseen, metaphysical force or entity that delivers you a song.
